SOLID ROCK - OUR REGULAR MEETINGS


Our Regular Meetings

Welcome

Our regular weekly Friday meetings always begin with meeting and greeting new people. If you have never been in Solid Rock before, then do not worry because we will welcome anyone with open arms. Just come in, sit down and have a chat with us.

Worship Session

Solid Rock begins the evening with a worship session, to sing praises to God, our heavenly Father.

Announcements

Following the worship session would be a time for announcements. Announcements would contain upcoming special events, concerts, special guest speakers and others.

Bible Study & Prayer

After the announcements, the entire fellowship is broken into smaller groups where the Word of God aka the Bible is studied, so that we may understand if not comprehend the wonderful promises God has in store for us. After the bible study, we adjourn to a time of prayer, where we pray for one another, the world and for others.

Packing Up

Finally, everyone will pack up, stay around to chat more ranging from suitability of churches down to helping each other do something (like moving house, crashing in, transportation back to the dorms). Usually this takes place right until the time the Porter of Portland Building shoos us out which is around 10.30pm.
